These conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these conditions you may not use or access this website. Before you place an order, if you have any questions relating to these conditions please contact us by email, or call us 1888 926 2236.

The personal information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer must be true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. You must notify us immediately of any changes to the personal information by contacting us by email, or calling us 1888 926 2236. You must not impersonate any other person or entity or use a false name or a name that you are not authorized to use.

You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this website, or by the use of any other person accessing the website using your shopping account and/or your personal information.

Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website. You may be required to pay delivery charges at the checkout stage based upon the appropriate delivery service. Prices listed online do not include tax. All purchases within the State of Connecticut are charged tax at the current rate.

We make every effort to ensure colors and finishes appear as realistic as possible. However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers and because of the variations in natural materials such as wood or leather, we cannot guarantee exact color or finish depiction. Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate, however, variations may occur. Measurements are approximate and may vary according to the size of the item.

You may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time within 72 hours from the date you place your order, providing your goods have not already been dispatched. To cancel your order you must notify us in writing, either to cs@cadomodern.com quoting your name and order reference or by mail to CADO Modern Furniture Store, 1770 Boston Post Rd, Milford CT 06460. If the goods have been dispatched then please follow our returns & exchange policy as detailed below.

Items that are specially made to your specifications [marked Custom Order] cannot be canceled or returned after 72 hours from the date of order.
If you have received standard, stock items and you wish to cancel your order then you must inform us in writing within 48 hours of receipt. You must then send the goods back to us at your own cost and risk within 14 calendar days of cancellation. Please see the returns & exchange policy below.
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
- We do not deliver to your area.
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 14 calendar days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

We will deliver your order to the delivery address given at the time you place your order. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted dependent on the lead time of the product. You will be notified when the goods come into stock for goods that require ordering and on dispatch for stock items. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when full payment has been received and they have been delivered to you.

Delivery dates acknowledged by CADO Modern Furniture Store are non-binding estimates only, based upon the best available information concerning manufacturers lead times and transportation schedules. Estimated delivery dates will be considered as accepted by the buyer unless disagreement is notified to the CADO Modern Furniture in writing within 72 hours of order placement. Special delivery conditions requested by the buyer should be given in writing at the time of order placement and will be considered by the CADO Modern Furniture and if necessary conditions and charges may change accordingly. From delivery all risks for the goods pass to the buyer.
We offer four delivery options in the continental United States on most of our products. Alaska & Hawaii excluded.
Basic Shipping: available for selected items unless otherwise noted. Basic shipping offers delivery to your front door [if the destination is an apartment or multi-unit building, the order will be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to your apartment door]. Basic Shipping does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packing materials. CADO Modern Furniture assumes no responsibility or liability to damage of the product, personal injury to someone or any other issue that can arise due to getting the product to the apartment. If the service requested prior to arranging a delivery time is Basis Shipping, the customer may not modify this request to a white glove delivery for any reason.
Room Of Choice Delivery: offers delivery to the room of your choice. We recommend this service to customers in apartments, multi-unit buildings or offices. Room of Choice Delivery does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packing materials. It also does not include moving of existing items.
White Glove Delivery: available for selected items at an additional cost depending on the item and the destination. White Glove Delivery includes an inside delivery, assembly and placement in your room of choice, and removal of all packing materials. White Glove Delivery does not include wall mounting, electrical or structural changes. It also does not include moving of existing items. Any charge that is paid by the consumer for Basic Shipping or Room Of Choice Delivery does not constitute White Glove Delivery unless otherwise stated “White Glove Delivery”. Please note: the delivery crew will not hookup any electrical or component wires and will not fix mirrors or artwork on walls as per law. Our delivery personnel are not licensed contractors. CADO Modern Furniture offers a White Glove Delivery service at an additional charge with installation in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey Metro Area. Please note that CADO Modern Furniture may not offer in-home service in your area, it is best to call before to get a quote and availability 1888 926 2236.
Pickup: CADO Modern Furniture offers free pickup for items delivered to our showroom. Pick up needs to be arranged with our customer service representative over the phone at 1888 926 2236 or in person at our Showroom [1770 Boston Post Road, Milford CT 06460]. Customers are responsible for bringing proper help to load merchandise into their vehicle. CADO Modern Furniture Store will not be responsible for any damage caused during loading, unloading, or transporting merchandise to customer's home. All packing, wrapping, and securing materials must be provided by the customer.

CADO Modern Furniture Store has no liability for items ordered that a customer no longer requires. Once an order has been processed the customer is liable to purchase the items. If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered, are damaged or defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we ask that the goods be examined as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and you should notify us of the problem in writing within 48 hours.

Goods that have been specially made to order [marked Custom Order] in a specific finish or upholstery color as per the customer's specifications cannot be returned. If your Custom Order is received damaged or defective then a replacement will be manufactured and delivered as replacement as soon as possible.

Please only place your order if you are sure that the item and finish is right for your needs as you will not be able to change the order after the item has been entered into production or because it is different to what you expected following delivery, unless of course we have not supplied the correct item or specification as per the order confirmation. Also, it is imperative for you to check access into your property as delivery will be actioned on the basis that you have checked the dimensions of the item you wish to order and that it fits through all doorways, stairwells and within the area of intended use. CADO Modern Furniture store is not responsible for this stipulation within your order process.
If you would like to return or exchange a standard product where no finish options have been specified by you, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. You must return or exchange goods within 14 calendar days of cancellation but CADO Modern Furniture Store is not responsible for any item that is not returned in the manner set forth below.
The product you return must be in new, unused, condition with all the original packaging and product tags still attached. New and unused means that there are no marks on the item or signs of any wear. We will not accept any item with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser. Goods can be returned to our CADO Modern Furniture Store or, if required, we can arrange for the unwanted product to be collected at your cost. The cost of returning any unwanted products will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please ensure you keep all the original packaging and carefully repackage the item for transit as it is also the buyer's responsibility to insure the goods for transit.
Where items are large or fragile [as determined by CADO Modern Furniture Store] we reserve the right to nominate a specialist furniture handler for return transit and pass the cost of this service onto the Customer. This transportation charge will be charged each time the Customer accepts a returns collection date but then subsequently fails to meet it.
The value of all accurately returned, unwanted products will be a subject to the store credit only minus any relevant collection charges [25% restocking fee].
In the event of your order being received in a faulty or damaged condition, please notify us as soon as possible after you have received your goods as no claim for a replacement for damaged or missing goods can be made after 72 hours; the manufacturer's standard warranty on faulty goods remains valid beyond this period. Any claims regarding damaged or defective items must be made initially by calling the Store 1888 926 2236 and then followed up by a written claim via email to cs@cadomodern.com.

In the event that a product is withdrawn, discontinued or changed by the manufacturer then CADO Modern Furniture Store will offer an alternative item or a full refund after informing the customer involved.

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with US law and the US courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

These Terms & Conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and Privacy policy set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms & conditions or as an authorized representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. The company accepts responsibility under these terms & conditions for its commitment to you.

CADO Modern Furniture Store only collects personal information from our online visitors on a voluntary basis and only during registration or placing an order. Visitors purchasing goods and services online will need to provide a valid credit or debit card number and expiration date, in addition to their name, mailing address, telephone number and email address. Your telephone number may be passed on to the carriage company we employ to deliver your goods. These details allow us to process your order and, subsequently, keep you up to date with the status of your order.

The information you provide allows us to alert you to new products, services, special offers/promotions, news and events. We will not share your information with parties outside our organization [except to the extent required by law, court order, or as requested by other government or law enforcement authorities].
